Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a Crane Service Technician. This role is essential for maintaining our reputation for exceptional customer service and technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct on-site preventive maintenance, repairs, and upgrades on electric overhead traveling cranes.
  • Engage with clients to address repair and safety concerns.
  • Diagnose equipment failures and breakdowns effectively.
  • Identify sales opportunities during service visits.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed service reports for all work performed.
  • Handle new crane wiring, assembly, installation, and commissioning.
  • Ensure a clean and safe working environment.
  • Travel may be necessary; a work vehicle will be provided.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • In-depth knowledge of AC/DC electrical theory and the ability to troubleshoot 480VAC 3-phase motor control systems.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in overhead crane or similar electro-mechanical maintenance.
  • Proficiency in both electrical and mechanical systems, with familiarity in relevant equipment.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Successful completion of drug screening and background checks.
  • Strong communication abilities.
  • Commitment to safety protocols.
  • Comfortable working at heights.
  • Experience with Variable Frequency Drives and PLC programming is advantageous.
  • Prior crane maintenance experience is a plus.
