Building Maintenance Specialist

American Equipment Holdings is seeking a skilled Crane Service Technician to join our team in Anchorage, AK.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Crane Service Technician to perform on-site preventative maintenance, repairs, and modernizations on electric overhead traveling cranes. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of AC/DC theory and the ability to troubleshoot 480VAC 3 phase motor control systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform on-site preventative maintenance, repairs, and modernizations on electric overhead traveling cranes
- Consult with customers on repair and safety related issues
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and breakdowns
- Generate sales leads during service calls
- Accurately document on the service report for the work performed
- New crane wiring, assembly, installation, and start-up
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Travel may be required
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of AC/DC theory
- Minimum 2-years overhead crane or similar electro-mechanical maintenance experience
- Aptitude for both electrical and mechanical environments
- Willingness to work overtime
- Possession of a valid driver's license with good driving record
- Must pass drug-screen and background check
- Strong communication skills
- Proven commitment to safety
- Comfort with working at heights
- Experience in Variable Frequency drives and PLC programming a plus
- Crane maintenance experience a plus
