About the Project: The I-285/SR 400 Project in Georgia is a $460 million infrastructure development managed by North Perimeter Contractors, LLC, a subsidiary of Ferrovial Group. This large-scale project involves 10.5 miles of roadway construction, interchange rebuilding, and highway improvements through lane additions and configuration enhancements.

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Field Engineer to support our Discipline Manager and coordinate construction activities for specific segments of this project. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, experience with Microsoft Excel, and knowledge of highway or road construction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Discipline Manager to implement construction processes.
  • Conduct quantity take-offs and cost estimates.
  • Evaluate quality of work and safety compliance.
  • Support onsite control of field works, ensuring design quality, safety, and compliance.
  • Develop labor schedules as needed.
  • Procure and receive materials, supplies, tools, and equipment.
  • Propose change orders and perform cost control of relevant activities.
  • Suggest solutions to design changes throughout the construction process.
  • May oversee subcontractor scope of work under various contracts.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Science, or equivalent.
  • Zero (0) to two (2) years of experience on similar construction projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience in highway or road construction is recommended.
  • Able to influence and lead the assignment of others.
Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year.
