Job Description

This role involves researching, editing, cataloging, and organizing content and archive materials for use by the Library, Productions, and Production Services departments.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

  • Cataloging, tracking, and locating physical tapes and media using the Xytech system
  • Utilizing Xytech to locate, track, document, and identify work orders and tasks as needed
  • Completing paperwork to process internal and external client requests and inquiries
  • Coordinating shipments via standard shipping methods and courier services
  • Providing backup coverage for the department during various times of day, including holidays and weekends
  • Researching and conducting basic editing of footage for clip reels and special projects
  • Cataloging footage from the field for use in short-turnaround programming and long-term archives using Perfect Memory Media Asset Management System
  • Assisting Production and Production Services by logging and editing content for use in projects and programs
  • QC full race cutdowns for NASCAR Classics website
Estimated Salary

$60,000 - $80,000 per year based on location and experience.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent, with 2 years of related experience in broadcast, new media, or journalism
  • Proficiency in Company-provided hardware and software, with knowledge of Apple and Mac OS beneficial
  • Basic typing and spelling skills
  • Minor problem-solving and research skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently under tight deadlines
