NASCAR is a community of passionate individuals who care about our sport and are united in seeing it grow. We seek a talented professional to join our team as the Manager, Content Programming based in our Concord, North Carolina office.

This role is responsible for leveraging NASCAR's extensive portfolio of new original-content and historical video archives to program the NASCAR Channel (FAST). The manager will work to optimize consumption to help grow the emerging digital platform and manage the day-to-day functions of the channel.

Job Responsibilities
  • Schedule the NASCAR Channel (FAST), a 24/7 ecosystem, utilizing NASCAR's content portfolio.
  • Manage the program scheduling system, ensuring all programs and partnership inventory air as scheduled, and oversee VOD content options for digital streaming platforms.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of NASCAR's content inventory, including historic and current programs.
  • Contribute to strategic planning for the NASCAR Channel, identifying opportunities for programming stunts and initiatives.
  • Track performance metrics, monitor industry trends, and use data to drive strategic scheduling decisions.
  • Cordinate content delivery with producers and library teams, gather program descriptions, and manage an inventory list of available content.
  • Collaborate with internal groups on cross-platform content strategy, specifications, and optimizations.
  • Liaise with distribution partners, including marketing and messaging.
  • Create business planning materials, providing quarterly and/or annual reports.
  • Ensure execution of third-party content partnerships.

This position requires a Bachelor's degree and at least five years of experience in broadcast, cable, or digital programming, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Required skills include proficiency in Company-provided hardware and software, knowledge of CRM software and reporting platforms, and experience with multimedia software suites like Adobe Photoshop and Premiere.
