Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Truck Fleet Technician to join our team at Performance Foodservice. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our fleet of diesel equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preventative maintenance on medium to heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and refrigeration units
  • Repair and maintain diesel equipment, including brakes, steering mechanisms, and wheel bearings
  • Install, replace, and repair onboard computers and other electronic components
  • Conduct routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and lubrication
  • Train and guide other mechanics as needed
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in medium to heavy-duty vehicle repair
  • Proven track record of performing preventative maintenance and repairs
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills
  • Knowledge of refrigeration systems and electrical troubleshooting
