Position Overview: We are currently seeking a seasoned Electrical Project Manager with extensive experience in electrical industrial construction. This role is based in our Atlanta office and may require frequent travel. The ideal candidate will possess substantial expertise in heavy industrial electrical systems, particularly in low voltage and data center environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with clients and project management teams to plan, develop, and oversee project execution, ensuring priorities are established and resources are allocated effectively.
  • Manage all facets of cost control, including estimating, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Utilize comprehensive knowledge of project scheduling, bids, take-offs, change orders, and contracts to identify and manage scope changes and project milestones.
  • Foster and maintain relationships to uncover and develop new business opportunities.
  • Plan and allocate resources to meet project timelines and demands.
  • Innovate solutions to challenges and prepare or adjust technical documentation, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and engineering standards.
  • Ensure that all project-related equipment, tools, and personnel adhere to company policies, government regulations, and client specifications.
  • Oversee the implementation of safety programs and monitor work performance to uphold a strong safety culture.
  • Provide regular updates on project progress to senior management.
  • Travel to various job sites to supervise project activities as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • 10-15 years of experience in managing complex projects within manufacturing, power, or chemical sectors, with budgets up to $1M.
  • Proven track record in client relationship management and business development, including successful bid preparation.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities, adherence to processes, and commitment to risk management.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and manage plans while nurturing professional relationships.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and OSHA standards.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
