Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Foreman to join our team at Arkansas Electric. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for supervising line crews in framing, setting poles, and installing conductors on energized or de-energized lines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise line crews in framing, setting poles, and installing conductors on energized or de-energized lines.
  • Submit work and other required reports to the Construction office on a weekly basis.
  • Supply general foreman with information on material needs on a timely basis.
  • Interpret construction plans and specifications of work to be performed and inspect work to ensure compliance with these specifications.
  • Ensure preventative maintenance of equipment is accomplished.
  • Perform duties and responsibilities common to all in a managerial or supervisory position.
  • Prepare and submit employment records to the construction office.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED, plus specialized training, plus 7 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License is required.
  • Ability to travel up to 100% of work week.
  • Must be prepared to wear all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
Preferred Qualifications
  • CPR and first aid training.
