PURPOSE STATEMENT


• Execute production responsibilities in accordance with directives from Shift Management, contributing to the achievement of high-quality, cost-effective manufacturing while meeting service levels to fulfill customer expectations.

• Support the organization in maintaining a secure working environment, ensuring the safety of all employees and visitors.

• Guarantee that manufactured products are safe, compliant with legal standards, and meet customer quality specifications.

This position requires working on a rotating schedule.

The compensation for this role includes a base salary of £ plus a shift allowance of £ annually.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/OUTCOMES


• Adhere to safe working practices in compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.

• Follow and implement all essential processes and procedures, including Critical Control Points (CCPs), production tasks, and documentation to ensure food safety standards are upheld.

• Comply with the company's quality assurance system, ensuring that all products manufactured meet the specified criteria. All products must align with company quality standards, ensuring the final output meets customer expectations.

• Actively manage food safety and quality concerns, ensuring timely escalation to shift management as necessary.

• Meet all production targets and maximize line outputs to achieve planned efficiency. Be skilled in operating line equipment within a designated area, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues. Collaborate with shift management, engineering, and sanitation teams to minimize downtime, particularly during changeovers.

• Minimize material waste through effective operational practices and process control.

• Ensure thorough line cleaning is conducted efficiently and effectively, adhering to food safety standards and minimizing downtime. Maintain compliance with customer audit requirements and uphold a clean and organized workspace.

• Complete all necessary documentation to meet legal obligations and maintain relevant systems, including Traceability, Health and Safety, Good Manufacturing Practices, and ERP systems.

• Proficient in D365 and manage data collection effectively.

• Communicate and escalate issues to Shift Management promptly and conduct effective shift handovers.

• Serve as a key member of the production team, ensuring efficient line operations and fostering team morale.

• Take initiative in personal development and seek opportunities for advancement when available.

• Participate in problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Actively develop skills and support training and continuous improvement efforts for the team.

Compliance with Rich Products Limited Health and Safety policies and procedures is mandatory at all times.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

• Prior experience in a production line environment

• Management of Quality Standards to ensure products meet business and customer specifications

• Ability to assist the Shift Management Team in the efficient operation of the production line.

• Adequate manual dexterity

• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile setting

• Proficient communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to ensure comprehension of health and safety protocols.

• Experience in Food Manufacturing / FMCG

• Familiarity with working in a Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) environment

• Knowledge of Continuous Improvement methodologies

• Experience in Food Safety practices

• Background in Safety Critical environments
