Position Details

This is a full-time opportunity with the potential for permanent placement. Candidates must possess reliable transportation, as the work location is not easily accessible by public transit.

The work schedule is Monday through Friday, commencing at 5:00 AM and continuing until the completion of the assigned route, typically lasting between 10 to 12 hours, offering significant overtime possibilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect waste and recyclables from residential and commercial properties.
  • Efficiently load materials into the collection vehicle.
  • Return waste containers to their designated locations.
  • Manage yard waste and other organic refuse.
  • Assist drivers in transporting waste to disposal sites.
  • Manually lift and empty trash bins into the truck.
  • Utilize hydraulic lifts for dumpster emptying.
  • Operate semi-automated lifting equipment as required.
Requirements

Applicants should be prepared to handle physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the workday. Previous experience in waste collection is preferred but not mandatory.

Work Environment

This position requires in-person attendance, contributing to the overall cleanliness and sustainability of our environment.

Job Type

Full-time position with a competitive hourly wage of $17.50.
