Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled Investigative Analyst to join our team. As an Investigative Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting impartial fact-based pre-employment investigations, reviewing municipal government agency applications, and identifying important information.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities of the Investigative Analyst include:

  • Performing impartial fact-based pre-employment investigations
  • Reviewing municipal government agency applications and identifying important information
  • Identifying missing information and discrepancies to develop a strategy for obtaining clear and concise information
  • Conducting criminal checks, civil lawsuit checks through public records access
  • Preparing lists to organize the flow of background checks
  • Editing reports for grammar and content to ensure high quality in the end product
  • Maintaining consistent communication with every part of the team
  • Conducting heavy investigative research on the internet and through various phone contacts
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A college degree in Criminal Justice, Pre-Law, Paralegal, Journalism, or Political Science
  • At least 1 year of experience in an office environment
  • Openness to learning new processes
  • Display of tech-savvy skills to new technologies
  • Ability to pass Security Clearance to obtain a Permanent Employee Registration Card (PERC) or already have one
  • Willingness to take a drug test
