About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Research Scientist to join our Nutrition Research & Clinical Investigator team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for evaluating scientific research to support our global product portfolios and providing scientific credibility to differentiate our products from competitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate scientific research to support our global product portfolios
  • Provide scientific credibility to differentiate our products from competitors
  • Work on front-end research to identify relevant mechanisms of action and outcomes
  • Partner with internal teams and/or external partners to advance ingredient and product technologies
  • Develop protocols for clinical studies, identify CROs or academic partners, oversee study execution and results analysis
  • Translate results into consumer-friendly and regulatory acceptable claims and stories

Requirements:

  • Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in Bioscience, Nutrition, Molecular Biology, Immunology, Microbiology or related discipline
  • Minimum 3-4 years background in scientific research, methods, analysis and data interpretation and publication
  • Track record of scientific presentations and/or educating the public on nutrition

Desirable Skills:

  • Ability to translate complex scientific and technical concepts into consumer appropriate language
  • Interpersonal skills to influence and inspire both internal and external audiences
  • Experience leading clinical studies in an industry setting
  • Background in successful grant applications
  • Industry awareness with knowledge of trends and innovation
  • RD (Registered Dietician) Certification, ACRP (Association of Clinical Research Professionals) Certification, or naturopathic background
