Job Title: Native eCommerce Director

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Native eCommerce Director to lead our online sales strategy and drive growth across multiple channels. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of ecommerce best practices, consumer behavior, and industry trends, and will be able to develop and execute strategies to maximize revenue, enhance customer engagement, and drive growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive ecommerce strategies aligned with company goals, focusing on driving sales, increasing conversion rates, and improving customer retention.
  • Oversee a team that takes care of the day-to-day operations of our DTC website, including product merchandising, content management, site optimization, and user experience enhancements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of online and offline channels, including retail stores, mobile app, and third-party marketplaces, to deliver a consistent and personalized customer experience.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to monitor performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and make data-backed recommendations for optimizing site performance, marketing campaigns, and customer acquisition strategies.
  • Develop and execute targeted marketing campaigns, promotions, and partnerships to drive traffic, increase conversion rates, and maximize ROI.
  • Champion the customer journey and ensure a frictionless shopping experience from browsing to checkout, implementing strategies to improve site navigation, product discovery, and customer service.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing ecommerce team, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities to foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in ecommerce management or related roles, preferably in the consumer goods industry - leading ecommerce/growth teams.
  • Proven track record of driving ecommerce growth and delivering results, with a strong understanding of ecommerce technologies, platforms, and best practices.
  • Deep knowledge of digital marketing channels, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media, and affiliate marketing.
  • Knowledge of analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and inspire cross-functional teams.
  • Strategic thinker with a customer-centric mindset, creative problem-solving abilities, and a passion for driving innovation and excellence in ecommerce.
