Job Summary:The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing medical care and consultation services to our clients. This includes coordinating medical pre-admission evaluations, developing and implementing nursing care plans, and providing on-going care management and treatment of medical issues.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate medical pre-admission evaluations and screenings of prospective clients
- Develop and implement nursing care plans, including quarterly reviews and revisions
- Provide on-going care management and treatment of medical issues, including medication administration and monitoring
- Conduct monthly reviews of medication records and advise physicians of any medication errors or issues
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and provide education and training to staff members
- Respond to on-call requests and provide medical consultation and guidance as needed
- Current NYS RN License
- Minimum one year of experience
- Experience working with people with intellectual/developmental disabilities preferred
