  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Document patient information accurately and thoroughly, promoting effective communication among caregivers.
  • Stay up-to-date with national professional organization guidelines, business unit, and health system goals to improve patient safety, quality, and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Successful graduation from a Licensed Practical Nursing Program approved by the State Board of Nursing.
  • Ability to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care and interact appropriately with patients of various ages.
  • Experience in healthcare preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with executives, managers, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Computer skills required to utilize the electronic health record.
Licensure and Certifications
  • LPN licensure in the state where the facility is located or a multistate license issued by a participating NLC state.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
