Job Summary

SAS Geospatial LLC is seeking a highly skilled Survey/CAD Technician to join our team in our Doylestown, PA office. As a key member of our team, you will assist Professional Land Surveyors and Project Managers in preparing deliverables, including boundary surveys, topographic surveys, ALTA surveys, and more.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare survey drawings and understand and perform survey computations to provide quality control of drawings.
  • Compile backup documentation, data reduction for survey submittals, and create related reports to verify survey data.
  • Interact with clients in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Be adaptable to emerging technologies and work collaboratively with the team.
  • Meet company and client standards, and execute work as directed to meet project goals.
Requirements
  • A high school education or equivalent, with a background in math and geometry.
  • AS or BS Degree in Surveying and Mapping highly desired.
  • CST, LSIT or PLS Certification desirable.
  • 3D scanning experience desirable.
  • 3+ years of survey experience using AutoCAD and similar drafting software, preparing survey maps, record of surveys, right-of-way maps, legal descriptions, exhibits, and construction staking calculations highly desirable.
