Professional Land Surveyor

Trotter Workforce is seeking a skilled Professional Land Surveyor to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in conducting accurate land surveys, managing survey projects, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct accurate boundary, topographic, and ALTA/NSPS land surveys using total stations, GPS, and other surveying instruments.
- Interpret survey data, prepare plats, and analyze legal descriptions to determine property boundaries.
- Ability to produce red line As-Built drawings.
- Provide Topographic and Cross-Section surveys as required.
- Oversee and manage land surveying projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
- Coordinate with project stakeholders, including clients, engineers, and government agencies, to address project requirements and constraints.
- Ensure that all land surveys comply with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as industry standards.
- Implement rigorous quality control measures to verify the accuracy and completeness of survey data.
- Conduct thorough reviews of survey computations, field notes, and final deliverables to maintain the highest standards of precision.
- Stay abreast of advancements in surveying technology and integrate new tools and methodologies into surveying practices.
- Implement innovative solutions to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of land surveying processes.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand project requirements, address concerns, and provide updates on surveying progress.
- Establish and maintain positive client relationships through exceptional service and professionalism.
- Collaborate with surveying technicians and support staff to allocate resources, streamline workflows, and ensure project milestones are met.
