Job Description

As a Computer-Aided Manufacturing Engineer at Lockheed Martin Corporation, you will be responsible for developing and supporting manufacturing processes for rigid, flexible, or rigid-flex printed wiring boards.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain work instruction/task lists to ensure efficient production processes.
  • Develop rework/repair instructions from service notifications to minimize downtime and optimize productivity.
  • Assist in design and producibility reviews to identify potential issues and implement improvements.
  • Initiate process improvements to enhance manufacturing efficiency and quality.
  • Validate processes and new equipment to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as engineering or computer science.
  • Experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD), Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM), or scripting languages.
  • 2+ years of professional work experience in a manufacturing or engineering role.
  • Ability to interpret drawings and specifications to develop and translate into work instructions.
  • Experience in troubleshooting problems and developing solutions.
  • Previous experience using software to develop 3D models or output machining files.
  • Process development and/or improvement experience.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with industry standards, such as AS 91000/AS9102, IPC, J-STD, and MIL-STD specifications.
  • Experience with disposition of non-conforming products and root cause/corrective action definition.
  • Ability to liaison between production, manufacturing, and engineering teams.

Work Schedule:

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five-day work week while others may be condensed.

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position is $64,400 - $123,400, depending on the location and candidate's final work location.
