Job Summary:

Lockheed Martin Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer Senior to join our team in Grand Prairie, TX. As a key member of our Precision Fires Manufacturing Engineering team, you will play a critical role in supporting both development and production activities for the Precision Strike Missile (PrSM) system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Production Line Validations, supplier visits, internal manufacturing shop support, Earned Value Management, proposal support, tooling, design reviews for producibility, and other program-related production activities.
  • Support hardware and tooling for MFC Mechanical/Electrical hardware and Supply Chain.
  • Collaborate with Program Leadership, cross-functional support, and various levels of functional team members and leaders to ensure program objectives are being met and brief them on risks to those objectives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in an engineering discipline or related technical field.
  • Current Active Secret Clearance.
  • Proficient in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Ability to travel domestically and/or internationally.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience in design for manufacturing.
  • Experience in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Process improvement experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve technical/process issues varying from basic to very complex.
  • Demonstrated competency in Computer Aided Design (CAD) software.
  • SAP Experience.
  • Cost/Schedule/Budget Responsibility.
  • Lean/Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification.
  • Earned Value Management System Cost Account Manager (EVMS CAM) experience.
  • Effective Communication Skills: Verbal, Listening, Technical Writing.
  • Ability to effectively present technical information to non-technical people.
  • Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills, including team building, collaboration, and developing enduring business relationships.
