Petroleum Equipment Inspector

Petro Towery Inc is seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our Compliance Testing Team as a Petroleum Equipment Inspector.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting regular testing and evaluation of Underground Storage Tank (UST) equipment to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct periodic testing and evaluation of UST components to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with EPA guidelines.
  • Operate specific testing equipment according to EPA guidelines and fill out completed test forms for submission to the supervisor.
  • Maintain company vehicles and use mobile data tablets to record and track testing results.
  • Perform monthly/annual walk-throughs as assigned to ensure equipment is functioning properly.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of a high school diploma/GED and relevant experience in a similar environment or equivalent in college or vocational education.
  • Certification in Estabrook Line, Tank and Leak Detection and Cathodic Protection Certification a Plus.
  • Valid Driver License with an acceptable driving record and ability to read and interpret necessary training manuals.
  • Must be 18 years of age and eligible to work in the United States and willing to submit to a background and drug screen.
