Key Responsibilities of a Physical Therapy Assistant

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to work with patients in their homes at LHC Group, a leading healthcare provider.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to assist licensed physical therapists in providing treatment and exercise instruction to patients, while also developing strong relationships with patients and their families.

About the Role:
  • Collaborate with physical therapists to provide high-quality patient care and support rehabilitation efforts.
  • Develop and maintain effective communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge, staying up-to-date on best practices in home health physical therapy.
  • Contribute to a culture of caring and belonging within our organization, upholding the highest standards of professionalism and compassion.
Requirements:
  • Current licensure, registration, or certification as a physical therapy assistant in the state of Washington.
  • CPR certification.
  • A valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation.

Compensation:

The annual salary for this role is approximately $62,500, with hourly rates ranging from $30 to $45.
