Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Facilities Control Room Operator to join our team at WGNSTAR. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the operation of our building systems, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and respond to alarms and notifications from various building systems, including HVAC, water services, and electrical systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting tasks to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Collaborate with other teams to resolve issues and improve system efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain documentation of system operations and maintenance procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Intermediate PC skills, including experience with MS Office and basic programming languages.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to safety and quality.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Five years of experience in a control room or dispatch environment.
  • AAS degree or equivalent in a related field, such as HVAC or electrical engineering.
