As a 'Quality Assurance Automation Specialist', you will play a crucial role within our client's software development team, ensuring the delivery of top-tier enhancements to our offerings. This role involves evaluating requirements for client's product suite to architect and implement automation scripts while validating functionality. You will have the opportunity to explore cutting-edge technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Primary Duties:
In this position, you will:
- Engage with the development team, including the Product Owner, Quality Engineers, Software Engineers, Development DBA, and Scrum Master, to assess business requirements and identify all potential scenarios.
- Examine deployment requests and assist in the deployment of application code and database scripts in testing and other lower environments.
- Thoroughly validate product features by devising a testing strategy, conducting test design reviews with the team, creating test data, executing manual tests, preparing test automation scripts, and maintaining regression tests using the test framework. You will also identify defects, log them in a defect management system, and ensure they are resolved.
- Participate in all Agile ceremonies that enhance the overall quality of the product, conduct demonstrations and presentations, and perform peer code reviews on test automation contributions from your team.
- Enhance regression tests and develop reusable test classes and methods, while updating regression test suites to optimize execution time.
