Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at CAPPS, Inc. in the Training Operations Division. As a key member of our dining services team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service facilities, ensuring the highest level of quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and assist cooks in preparing and serving meals, as well as maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.
  • Operate the cash register and manage daily sales, including balancing the register and handling credit card transactions.
  • Monitor and report any issues or problems that arise during food service operations.
  • Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Minimum of two (2) years' experience in food service management, preferably in a state agency or institution.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, customers, and management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Valid driver's license and automobile insurance required (if applicable).
Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to work in a kitchen environment, standing for long periods, and lifting up to 50 pounds. The selected candidate must be able to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
