Job Title: Locksmith Supervisor

Forefront Healthcare & Culinary Services is seeking a skilled Locksmith Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for planning, developing, and implementing work efforts related to locks and key systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assign tasks to employees and review work in progress to ensure quality and standards.
  • Investigate work-related problems and implement corrective actions.
  • Supervise staff and ensure a competent, motivated team through hiring, training, counseling, and performance reviews.
  • Coordinate and support customer requirements and complaints related to lock shop functions.
  • Establish and maintain effective plans and procedures for resource utilization and work scheduling.
  • Determine equipment, supplies, and maintenance required and complete documents for procurement.
  • Coordinate and schedule with other shops for multi-tasking.
  • Maintain physical security records and key control as per Army regulations.
Requirements:
  • Three or more years of experience in the locksmith trade, including one year in a supervisory role.
  • Knowledge of locksmith shop operations and supervisory skills to hire qualified employees and administer performance management.
  • Ability to effectively supervise and develop assigned team to meet production/service goals while adhering to safety policies and rules.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills using appropriate business English.
  • Demonstrated leadership, organizational, common sense, and problem-solving skills.
  • Human relation skills to build effective relationships with team and customers.
  • Effective customer service skills.
  • Intermediate computer literacy, including knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation software.
  • Fundamental mathematical ability, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Ability to establish priorities and solve operational problems.
  • Flexibility to respond to changing work priorities and handle numerous projects at the same time.
Education and Certifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Associates degree or higher.
  • Fed Security Clearance.
  • Locksmith Certificate.
  • Valid Driver's License.
