Job Title: Locksmith Supervisor

Forefront Healthcare & Culinary Services is seeking a skilled Locksmith Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for planning, developing, and implementing work efforts to provide recurring, planned, and preventive maintenance, area support structures, and rapid support response to service orders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assign employees to tasks to be performed, review work in progress, and ensure quality and standards are met.
  • Investigate work-related problems, identify causes, and implement corrective actions.
  • Supervise staff, ensure a competent and motivated team through hiring, training, counseling, supervising, and reviewing employee performance.
  • Coordinate and support customer requirements and complaints related to lock shop functions.
  • Establish and maintain effective plans and procedures for resource utilization and work scheduling.
  • Determine equipment, supplies, and maintenance required, and complete documents for procurement of supplies.
  • Coordinate and schedule with other shops for multi-tasking.
  • Maintain all physical security records and key control as per Army regulations.
Requirements:
  • Three or more years of experience in the locksmith trade, including one year in a supervisory role.
  • Knowledge of locksmith shop operations.
  • Supervisory skills to hire qualified employees, provide professional development, administer performance management, and address employee relations.
  • Ability to effectively supervise and develop assigned team to meet production/service goals while adhering to safety policies and rules.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills using appropriate business English.
  • Demonstrated leadership, organizational, common sense, and problem-solving skills.
  • Human relation skills to build effective relationships with team and customers.
  • Effective customer service skills.
  • Intermediate computer literacy, including knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation software.
  • Knowledge of business English, including vocabulary and spelling.
  • Fundamental mathematical ability, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Ability to establish priorities and solve operational problems.
  • Flexibility to respond to changing work priorities and handle numerous projects at the same time.
Education Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED, Associates

Certificates or Licenses Required:

Fed Security Clearance, Locksmith Certificate, Valid Driver's License
