Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Test Engineer - MEMS to join our team at SiTime Corporation. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for the architecture, design, and bring-up of custom systems used to characterize, test, and calibrate SiTime MEMS-based timing devices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Release Custom Test Systems: Design, develop, and release custom test systems for MEMS devices, ensuring high precision and accuracy.
  • Automate Data Acquisition and Analysis: Develop software to automate data acquisition, perform data analysis, and implement algorithms for device trimming.
  • MEMS Parameter and Failure Mode Understanding: Understand MEMS parameters and failure modes, and develop test methodologies to characterize and test them.
  • High-Precision Timing Parameter Measurements: Innovate and prototype new methodologies for conducting high-precision timing parameter measurements, such as ADEV, Phase Noise, Jitter, etc.
  • Collaboration and Leadership: Manage and collaborate with external partners to develop new systems or metrology hardware, and lead qualification and release-to-production activities.
Requirements
  • Education: MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Physics.
  • Technical Experience: Experience in driving technical projects and executing on aggressive schedules, with hands-on programming experience in C# and MATLAB.
  • Electrical Characterization and Test Equipment: Hands-on experience with electrical characterization and test equipment.
  • Data Analysis Skills: Strong data analysis skills, with knowledge of analog electronics and experience with board-level design and debug.
  • MEMS Design, Test, and Characterization: Previous experience with MEMS design, test, and/or characterization is preferred but not required.
