Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop manufacturing processes to meet daily production schedules while enhancing productivity, production yield, and quality.
  • Supervise the installation, operation, and maintenance of equipment and systems.
  • Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate implementation.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance procedures to ensure equipment functions according to specification.
  • Monitor production schedules and plan projects and repairs to coincide with production demands.
  • Provide production support, including troubleshooting manufacturing processes and equipment.
  • Interact with vendors and contractors during equipment installs and upgrades.
  • Maintain a positive and cooperative collaboration with all team members, customers, contractors, and vendors.
  • Create and implement new and innovative solutions and technologies to support improved safety, quality, customer service, and continuous improvement.
  • Effectively communicate issues, goals, and objectives in a complex and changing environment.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver solutions on time and on budget.
  • Ensure all contractors operate in a safe and compliant manner and follow all AmeriQual policies and safety regulations.
  • Lead installation, qualification, and validation activities.
  • Be willing and able to work off-shift, weekends, and holidays to maximize opportunities for equipment availability.
  • Perform all functions in full compliance with corporate policies and procedures and all other applicable environmental, health, safety, and GMP requirements.
  • Supply technical information and guidance to the Maintenance team for spare parts, predictive maintenance, and preventative maintenance.
  • Apply structured problem-solving analysis techniques to provide solutions to product processes, controls, facilities, and equipment issues.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of Project Management principles.
  • Results-driven with proven decision-making skills and high accountability.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Ability to communicate and work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Self-starter with strong leadership, administrative, and people skills.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines.
  • Professional, can-do mentality with excellent customer service skills.
  • Thorough working knowledge of all current OSHA and Safety Standards.
Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, employees are regularly required to sit, walk, and stand; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone; use hands repetitively to operate standard office equipment; reach with hands and arms.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

Position will also frequent the production floor, so operating in standard seasonal warehouse and food processing plant temperature conditions will be required.

Lifting up to 50 pounds, pushing/pulling/moving objects, and using specialized tools, equipment, and machines is required.

Duties include intricate repairs, which will require working in, on, and around complex machinery and packaging systems, requiring a high level of manual dexterity.
