Medical Specimen Collector

As a Medical Specimen Collector with Cynet Systems, you will be responsible for collecting and storing specimens according to established procedures. This role requires strong communication skills to properly explain the process of venipuncture and other specimen collection methods to patients. You will also be responsible for labeling, centrifuging, splitting, and freezing specimens as required by test order. Additionally, you will package specimens for transport and store them according to required temperature.
Responsibilities:
- Collect and store specimens according to established procedures
- Properly explain the process of venipuncture and other specimen collection methods to patients

Qualifications:
- Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where candidate will be employed
- Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- High School Diploma or GED
