Key Responsibilities- Assist patients with personal care and activities of daily living, promoting independence and dignity.
- Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families, addressing their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
- Collaborate with the nursing team to develop and implement patient care plans, ensuring seamless communication and coordination of care.
- Perform various clinical tasks, including phlebotomy, vital sign collection, and specimen collection, under the supervision of a registered nurse.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Participate in departmental meetings and training sessions, staying up-to-date on best practices and policies.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; formal Nurse Aid course/training or current enrollment in an A.D.N., B.S.N., program preferred.
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn electronic medical records systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
