We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Supervisor to lead our breading department team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient production of our products while maintaining the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and lead a team of production employees in the breading department, ensuring they have the necessary training and resources to perform their duties effectively.
- Ensure the safety of all team members through regular training, inspections, and hazard elimination.
- Verify daily payroll time sheets for all employees in the department.
- Manage daily paperwork, including production reports, quality checks, absentee sheets, vacation requests, and disciplinary action forms.
- Post daily results on communication boards and maintain compliance with all corporate and plant policies.
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance personnel to ensure customer expectations are met.
- Minimum three years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Poultry experience preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office computer software.
- Work in a cold/wet/damp environment.
- Stand/walk 100% of the workday.
- Lift various weights as needed.
