About the Role
  • Lead and manage a team of tax professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure successful client engagements.
  • Develop and implement tax strategies, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and provide tailored tax solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws, regulations, and accounting standards, applying new knowledge to client engagements.
  • Participate in training programs and professional development activities to enhance technical knowledge and develop industry-specific expertise.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent field.
  • 4+ years of tax compliance and/or tax consulting experience in public accounting or public/oil & gas industry mix.
  • CPA or IRS Enrolled Agent Certification required.
  • Relevant experience in oil and gas industry specifically tax compliance and consulting.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Taxation or relevant field.
  • Experience using CCH Axcess tax software.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to work with large sets of data.
