Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified professional to join our team as a Leadership Development Director for Skilled Nursing and Long-Term Care at eliseo, a non-profit life plan community dedicated to serving seniors in the Pierce County area.

Founded over 86 years ago, eliseo has been a pillar of the community. Our 28-acre campus provides a range of care options, including Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care, Skilled Nursing, and Long-Term Care. We are committed to delivering high-quality care and services to our residents.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate orientation programs for new staff members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide excellent care.
  • Conduct needs assessments to identify educational requirements for staff and develop strategies to address these needs.
  • Create and deliver in-service and continuing education programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge.
  • Establish and maintain certification as a BLS instructor and ensure regulatory requirements for staff development are met.
  • Collaborate with nursing managers to meet training needs and utilize educational offerings effectively.
  • Maintain documentation of attendance and educational programs for employees.
  • Evaluate educational programs and participate in quality assurance activities.
Requirements
  • Current RN License and BLS Certification.
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field.
  • 5+ years' experience as an RN, with at least 2 years' experience in a leadership role.
  • Experience in staff development is a plus.
  • Current BLS Instructor certification is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
