Supervisory Electronics Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supervisory Electronics Engineer to join our team at NASA. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and expertise in the areas of signal processing, radio systems, and autonomous communications.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical guidance and oversight to ensure the technical integrity of engineering and research products developed.
- Lead and direct employees within the organization, defining and assigning tasks, and ensuring the successful completion of projects.
- Establish and communicate performance expectations and guidelines for staff members, and resolve informal complaints and grievances.
- Obtain resources and identify strategic objectives for the organization, and perform succession planning to ensure required skills are available.
- Recommend employee promotions and recognition, and promote employee development through training, mentoring, and coaching.
- Foster a culture of engagement, diversity, inclusiveness, excellence, and innovation, and champion NASA's commitment to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility.
- Perform a full range of supervisory duties, including assigning and evaluating work, recommending personnel actions, and identifying training needs.
Requirements
- Must have a bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field, and at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade.
- Must have experience providing technical leadership to diverse project teams or organizations, resolving complex technical problems, and designing, developing, testing, and evaluating communication systems or advanced communication technologies.
- Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
