Job Summary

NASA is seeking a highly skilled Electronics Engineer, AST, Telecommunications to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and evaluating communication systems and technologies for application in space communications networks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to a diverse project team.
  • Design and develop communication systems and technologies for space communications networks.
  • Test and evaluate communication systems and technologies to ensure they meet NASA's requirements.
  • Collaborate with other engineers and technical experts to ensure technical integrity and alignment with NASA's objectives.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and excellence within the team.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in designing, developing, testing, and evaluating communication systems and technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of communication systems and technologies, including satellite communications, wireless communications, and network protocols.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with NASA's communication systems and technologies.
  • Knowledge of NASA's engineering design processes and specifications.
  • Experience with project management and leadership.
