Position Overview:
We are seeking a Supply Chain Management Intern to collaborate with our team in Smyrna, Tennessee. This role is designed for individuals eager to learn and grow within the supply chain domain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leverage data analysis skills alongside supply chain and logistics expertise to develop data models, assess simulations, conduct cost studies, and formulate future strategies.
  • Engage with various supply chain functions, gaining insights into different departments that support our manufacturing operations.
  • Participate in structured activities such as plant tours, networking events with fellow interns, discussions with Nissan leadership, and job shadowing across supply chain teams.
  • Execute a Kaizen initiative focused on continuous improvement, culminating in a proposal or implementation of a recommended enhancement.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in supply chain management or business analytics from an accredited institution.
  • Maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Exhibit strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Demonstrate self-motivation and a willingness to challenge oneself to enhance skills and talents.
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Have a data-driven mindset with some familiarity in data analysis.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Visio, and PowerPoint, with advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas and basic macros.
  • Knowledge of Tableau, SQL, R, and Python is a plus.
