Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the scheduling of surgeries and procedures, liaising with patients, healthcare providers, and medical facilities.
  • Communicate essential messages to the clinical staff.
  • Confirm referrals and obtain necessary authorizations for appointments.
  • Handle incoming calls, provide relevant information, and maintain a calm demeanor with patients.
  • Maintain and update patient records accurately.
  • Conduct insurance verifications as required.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required. Completion of a Medical Assistant program or two years of experience in a medical office setting is preferred. BCLS certification and a valid driver's license are mandatory.
