Admission Guidance Specialist

The University of Dayton seeks a highly motivated Admission Counselor to join our team. As a key member of the Strategic Enrollment Management division, you will play a crucial role in recruiting, enrolling, and graduating highly qualified students.
Responsibilities:- Provide exceptional service to prospective students and families, guiding them through the admission, financial aid, and enrollment process.
- Develop and implement a recruitment strategy for assigned territories, analyzing data to drive informed decision-making.
- Review admission applications and make appropriate admission decisions for all recruitment channels.
- Built relationships with students, parents, high school counselors, community-based organizations, and other constituents.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Two years progressive experience in higher education, high school counseling, or other work involving attention to detail, public speaking, and personal interaction.
- Excellent communication, public speaking, and relationship management skills.
- Knowledge of and appreciation for Catholic and Marianist values and principles of education.
- Knowledge and experience with Ellucian Banner software, Salesforce, and Target X CRM.
- Demonstrated experience working with families and students of diverse backgrounds.
