About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled CAE Engineer III to join our Virtual Performance Engineering Department at American Honda Motor. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for utilizing Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) tools to optimize product performance, cost, and weight.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute analysis plans using CAE tools to confirm specifications and requirements
  • Collaborate with test and part design engineers to optimize product performance, cost, and weight
  • Create documentation for analysis results and present findings to senior management
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • 3-6 years of engineering experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proficient in 1D and 3D CAE software, programming languages (e.g., ANSA, Hyperworks, Optistruct, Matlab, Python, Excel VBA)
  • Experience with body-in-white local and global static and dynamic stiffness performance, vehicle suspension, brake, and electric power unit NVH CAE
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
