About the Role

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a skilled Technical Trainer to develop and deliver a comprehensive cloud computing education program. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in adult learning theory and experience in designing and delivering instructor-led training content.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver cloud computing training programs for early-career technical hires
  • Utilize best practices in adult learning theory to facilitate interactive class discussions and activities
  • Provide continuous feedback on course materials and incorporate learner feedback to enhance learning
  • Collaborate with the AWS Training team to review and refine training content and lesson plans
  • Foster a strong sense of community among learners by encouraging collaboration and creating an inclusive learning environment

Basic Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in a training role, preferably technical training for related cloud technology products and services
  • 3+ years of demonstrated understanding of Cloud and Distributed computing concepts
  • Demonstrate a general understanding of various IT concepts (e.g. Compute, Storage, Networking, Database, Security)
  • Technical Degree (i.e. Computer Science, Information Systems) or relevant work experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure services
  • AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification
  • Experience designing and developing instructor-led content with technical subject matter content
  • Demonstrated understanding of generative AI concepts
