Key Responsibilities:

  • Quickly establish rapport with various teams, articulating the complexities of security to diverse audiences, including senior leadership.
  • Implement cybersecurity measures and infrastructure controls, enhancing detection capabilities and improving event correlation across large organizations.
  • Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability evaluations across network, system, and application domains; utilize big data analytics alongside traditional security event types to uncover advanced threats or indicators of compromise.

Qualifications:

  • Over 8 years of experience in a professional setting.
  • Proficiency in deploying, maintaining, or integrating cybersecurity tools and applications, including Splunk, Cribl, and Elastic.
  • Capability to incorporate cybersecurity engineering principles into infrastructure planning, design, and deployment.
  • Proven ability to meet timelines, performance metrics, and quality standards within the systems development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Experience in supporting control consistency, integrity monitoring, and health assessments of data ETL pipelines and review platforms.
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with SIEM tools, endpoint security, or digital forensics.
  • Background in system engineering, computer science, information systems, engineering science, or engineering management.
  • Understanding of security architecture design and integration.
  • Master's degree in a related discipline.
  • Splunk Administrator Certification.

Clearance Requirements:

Selected candidates will undergo a security investigation and may need to fulfill eligibility criteria for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is mandatory.
