Job Summary

SAIC is seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Engineer to join our National Intelligence Program. As a key member of our team, you will provide expert-level security support to our Sponsor's stakeholders, Systems Architect, and Systems Engineer. This role requires an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph and a strong background in cybersecurity, including design, implementation, and monitoring of robust security measures.

Responsibilities

Design and implement security measures to protect against breaches and ensure compliance with IC standards.
Lead the development and enforcement of security policies and protocols, including regular vulnerability assessments and penetration tests.
Swiftly address security incidents, conduct root cause analyses, and implement corrective actions to prevent future breaches.
Oversee the accreditation process for systems and ensure compliance with Sponsor's security standards and certifications.
Support Assessment and Authorization (A&A) and information assurance processes and documentation.

Qualifications

Active TS/SCI with polygraph
Bachelor's degree and 9+ years of experience, or Master's degree and 7+ years of experience
Experience working in a DevSecOps environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills to convey security concepts and procedures to non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH
Experience working with AWS/Azure cloud-hosted information systems or applications
Experience working with Redhat or CentOS Linux operating systems
Experience creating and using security tools and processes for scanning, testing, monitoring, and reporting
