At Labor Rocket, we are seeking a skilled Welder Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our exhaust systems.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in Mig and Tig welding techniques and be familiar with robotic weld cell operation. You will be responsible for examining parts to determine the extent of defects, utilizing Mig welding techniques to fill holes and gaps, and conducting welding operations on sub-assemblies and final assemblies.

We offer a competitive salary range of $19.50-$20.10/hr (based on experience) and a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance. If you are a motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for welding, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Examine parts to determine the extent of defects
  • Utilize Mig welding techniques to fill holes and gaps
  • Conduct welding operations on sub-assemblies and final assemblies
  • Employ Tig welding techniques when necessary
  • Execute 100% rework on parts
  • Perform leak tests on component parts
  • Operate robotic weld cells, gauges, and leak testers

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience in Mig and Tig welding techniques
  • Familiarity with robotic weld cell operation
  • Attention to detail in defect identification and correction
  • Ability to read and interpret specifications and blueprints
  • Adherence to quality standards and safety protocols
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Previous experience with MIG &TIG welding (1+ years experience)
  • Must be able to pass drug test & background check
  • Must be able to pass a weld test
  • Must have weld helmet
