This position involves performing inspections on fire sprinkler systems, which includes evaluating devices, documenting findings, and preparing reports. The role supports the Lead Inspector and/or Inspection Manager by collecting necessary data and creating essential documentation such as Sprinkler Inspection Reports, Quick Reports, and Inspection Certificates.

Compensation: $45.00/hr-$55.00/hr

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct inspections in a timely and comprehensive manner.
  • Test fire sprinkler control panels, devices, and systems, and accurately input test results.
  • Download inspection data and generate finalized Sprinkler Inspection Reports.
  • Participate in regular team meetings.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors.

Education/Qualifications:

  • A College Degree is preferred; however, a High School diploma or equivalent with relevant experience is acceptable.
  • Knowledge of NFPA standards for fire protection systems inspection and testing is essential. Stay updated with code regulations and industry advancements, and obtain NICET certifications.
  • Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on customer service.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Experience with sprinkler systems is advantageous.
  • Proficient in using various testing equipment and computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Palm unit operating systems.
  • Possess reliable transportation, as punctuality is critical for conducting inspections.

  • Adhere to the Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Company Safety Policy.
  • Carry out any other duties as directed.

Physical Demands:

  • Work in diverse environments, including industrial, commercial, and residential settings with varying noise levels and heights.
  • This role is physically demanding, requiring standing, climbing stairs, and using ladders.
  • Lifting objects weighing up to 50 pounds may be necessary.
  • Engage in consistent phone and computer use throughout the workday.
