Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough testing, evaluation, and repair of all types of ESA image intensifier tubes.
  • Provide technical support for government repair programs across various product lines, including ENVG and SENVG.
  • Execute assigned tasks to ensure successful project outcomes, including diagnosing repair needs, prioritizing tasks, re-soldering circuit boards, assembling units, and testing product functionality.
  • Maintain accurate departmental documentation, including order and data entry, while identifying and implementing process improvements.
  • Prepare monthly reports detailing departmental activities and outcomes.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of post-secondary education or an AA/AS degree, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 5 years of relevant technical experience in a similar role.
  • Proficient in the use of hand tools, testing equipment, and microscopes.
  • Possess a soldering certification or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in electronics and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with various software applications, including Excel and Word, with the ability to learn proprietary systems.
Preferred Skills
  • Knowledge of night vision equipment and experience in image tube evaluation.
  • Hands-on experience with night vision goggle assembly and testing equipment.
  • Technical repair skills and a strong customer service orientation.
  • Experience in training or teaching others.
  • Familiarity with fault analysis techniques.
