Position Overview

We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Senior Accountant to contribute to our financial operations. This role is essential for maintaining the financial health of our organization, collaborating closely with senior management to uphold financial accuracy and performance. The successful candidate will be tasked with delivering financial insights through thorough analysis and reporting, while ensuring compliance with internal controls.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and review financial documents, including accounting records and financial statements.
  • Design and enhance accounting systems and recordkeeping processes.
  • Calculate tax obligations and prepare tax filings, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Evaluate business performance metrics, providing insights into future financial trends.
  • Report financial status to management, highlighting key findings.
  • Organize accounts and ensure accurate entry assignments.
  • Develop and monitor budgets, generating reports that compare projected and actual expenditures.
  • Assess operational needs and recommend solutions for financial challenges.
  • Advise on resource allocation, tax strategies, and budgetary assumptions.
  • Conduct internal and external audits to maintain financial integrity.
  • Evaluate and document the value of assets, including real estate and equipment.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in accounting or a similar field.
  • Strong knowledge of accounts receivable, accounts payable, GAAP, and cost accounting principles.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Familiarity with Deltek software is a plus.
  • Proven track record in financial forecasting.
  • Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Proficient in current financial software applications.
  • Understanding of data analysis and forecasting techniques.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in work.
