We're seeking a talented Logistics Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who can manage logistics operations with minimal supervision.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Daily review of the shipping list with high attention to detail to prioritize shipping orders.
  • Understand the production process and location of parts to prioritize the on-time shipment.
  • Communicate with the correct personnel to identify the status of the parts to be shipped.
  • Use appropriate packing methods to ensure parts are secured for shipment with minimal damage to parts.
  • Coordinate domestic and international shipments.
  • Prepare products for shipment, including but not limited to boxing, crating, and securing packaging by applying protective packaging.
  • Operate forklift trucks/ Loading and unloading freight trucks. Maintain a neat and orderly work area, complying with all safety protocols.
  • Maintaining organization and high attention to detail is extremely important.
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills, adept computer skills, and be able to work with minimum supervision.
  • Communicate effectively and excel in good communication skills.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, skills, and abilities):
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Shipment receiving experience preferred.
  • Planning Methods/Techniques.
  • Extensive Knowledge of Formers International's stock parts and raw material.
  • Experience with QuickBooks is a plus.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Initiative: Action Oriented/Sense of Urgency.

  • Communication (writing, speaking, listening).
  • Must be able to pass forklift safety training program.
Physical Requirements:
