Job Description

As a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our customers. In this dynamic and patient-centric environment, you will have the opportunity to develop strong relationships with our customers and contribute to the success of our pharmacy team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, under direct supervision, in accordance with state and federal regulations.
  • Process prescriptions, using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information.
  • Provide excellent customer service, engaging with customers and patients to resolve issues and answer questions.
  • Develop strong relationships with most valuable customers.
  • Perform duties as assigned by Pharmacy Manager, Staff Pharmacist, and Store Manager, including utilizing pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean, neat, and orderly pharmacy department.
Requirements
  • Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
  • Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
  • Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens.
  • Prefer good math skills and computer skills.
