Job Title: Clinical Pharmacist

We are seeking a qualified Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Azle.

About the Role

This is a PRN (As Needed) position, working every 4th weekend and one holiday. As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will be responsible for providing clinical pharmacy services for the safe and efficient patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare teams to ensure timely and accurate medication distribution.
  • Provide clinical pharmacy services, including medication order verification and oversight of pharmacy technician responsibilities.
  • Ensure the accuracy of your own work and maintain required competencies and documentation.
  • Support quality improvement and patient safety standards programs and initiatives.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and growth.
  • Minimize pharmaceutical costs and discover new process efficiencies.
  • Respond to medical emergencies as available.
