- Lead the Treatment Team: Work collaboratively with the Unit Coordinator and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
- Document Patient Progress: Accurately document patient status and response to care, ensuring seamless communication with the healthcare team.
- Administer Medications: Safely administer medications as prescribed by physicians, ensuring patient safety and well-being.
- Supervise Non-Professional Staff: Supervise and mentor non-professional nursing staff, promoting quality care and adherence to policies and procedures.
- Communicate Effectively: Communicate clearly and effectively with patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare professionals, ensuring seamless care coordination.
- Participate in Performance Improvement: Contribute to performance improvement initiatives, identifying areas for growth and implementing evidence-based practices.
- Registration as a Professional Nurse: Current registration as a professional nurse in the State of Wisconsin.
- Physical and Mental Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, frequent lifting or carrying of objects, intermittent standing and walking, bending, twisting, squatting, pushing, pulling, and reaching.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to follow oral and written instructions, communicate clearly, and work effectively in a team environment.
